Philosophy

Family_1Some things in life change while some remain the same. The following quote from Dr. Edward H. Angle reflects our emphasis on not only aligning your teeth but also balancing your smile:

"The study of orthodontia is insolubly connected with that of art as related to the human face. The mouth is the most potent factor in making or marring the beauty and character of the face. The form and beauty of the mouth largely depends on the occlusal relations of the teeth.

Our duties as orthodontists force upon us great responsibilities. There is nothing in which the student of orthodontia should be more keenly interested in than art generally and especially in relation to the human face, for each of his efforts makes for beauty or ugliness; harmony or disharmony; for perfection or deformity of the face. Hence it should be one of his life studies."
